Det är så lätt att man blir ”hemmablind” i det man håller på med. Att man inte 
ser sin utveckling, att man inte uppskattar det man har eller njuter av det man skapat efter många timmars arbete och hårt slit! Ibland kan livet till och med kännas orättvist. Att alla andra har det så lätt och aldrig behöver kämpa för något utan bara får det serverat på en räkmacka. Men jag kan lova att sanningen är långt därifrån. Framgång sker inte av en slump!

Hollywoodduken. Vad tog det för honom? 10år? Eller Sanna Kallur. Hon hamnade knappast i värlseliten och satte nytt värlsrekord av en slump! Hennes heltidsjobb var att lära sin kropp på snabbaste möjliga vis ta sig över häckar! Hur ofta och hur mycket tränar du? Är den tid du lägger ner på träningen rimlig med de resultat du förväntar dig? Det är så lätt att bara se andras framgång och inte förstå vilket slit det faktiskt ligger bakom!!
Min erfarenhet, som Personlig Tränare, är att många har en lite diffus bild av att få en snyggare kropp eller förbättra tiden på milen men är inte beredda att lägga ner någon tid på det eller ens ändra på sina matvanor. Och sorry att behöva säga det men resultat kommer inte av sig självt!! Även om man kan önska att det skulle räcka att skrapa en lott för att få de där miljonerna på banken eller tro att det räcker att springa en gång i månaden för att få en grym tid när man springer Göteborgsvarvet. Tyvär krävs det lite mer engagemang än så! Därför underlättar det att hitta något man tycker är kul och det som är kul är oftast det man är duktig på!
Jag märker det väldigt tydligt själv nu när jag tränar utifrån ett helt nytt sätt mot vad jag är van vid. Plötsligt skall jag åka till en friidrottsbana eller gå in i en sal och utsätta mig för saker jag är ganska dålig på… spänst… de första veckorna (jag tjuvstartade lite innan vår lansering av vårt Train Like Athletes be Fit) hittade jag nästan på ursäker för mig själv varför jag inte skulle träna mina spänstpass…. Enligt mitt schema skall jag köra spänst på olika sätt 
3ggr/veckan… och varje gång tog det emot… jag kände mig frustrerad och vilsen … träningen kändes tung och tråkig…
…Tråkig på grund utav att jag gjorde något jag inte är bra på… …jag har svurit många gånger de här veckorna… svurit över att jag inte spelade basket eller höll på med friidrott när jag var liten så att jag kunde haft det gratis nu! 🙂 Men för att utvecklas gäller det att se sina svagheter och jobba på dom! Man är aldrig starkare än sin svagaste länk!
Efter tre veckor med en annan träningsform har jag redan uppnått en radikal förändring i styrka, spänst, hårdhet i benen samt att jag fått en bättre hållning och löpteknik. Så plötsligt upplever jag en helt annan träningsglädje och motivation! 🙂 Längtar till varje pass och varje pass är fokus att göra mitt bästa utifrån de förutsättningar som är!
För att fortsätta utvecklas och hålla mig pigg, glad och fräsch under den här 
uppbyggnadsfasen har jag och Robert Kronberg, min coach och samarbetsparner, tillsammans kommit fram till att jag inte kommer att täva i Body Fitness på Svenska Mässan den 3 December. Fokus nu är uppbyggnad och för att ta till mig träningen på ett rättvist sätt krävs även rätt energi. Att gå på en lågkalori diet i flera veckor är därför inte optimalt (på bilden ser ni när jag försöker lära Robert att göra en sidepose… man blir bra på det man tränar… så att säga…hihi;)
Beslutet att inte tävla mer i år känns rätt i mitt hjärta och jag ser fram emot nästa års tävlingar! 🙂
