Själv har jag ni varit medlem på Crossfit Solid i Stockholm i ca tre månader och kört ca 9 wodar. Det uppstod hatkärlek från första stund! Oavsett hur stark jag må vara var jag ändå klen. Hur mycket rörlighet jag än tränat var jag ändå styv som en pinne! Hur mycket kondition jag än tränat verkade den som bortblåst och mjölksyran fullkomligt skek i kroppen… efter bara någon minut…
Miljön kändes dessutom ovan. Inga speglar, maskiner, bänkar eller annat som brukar höra ett gym till. Allt jag en gång hade lärt mig och trodde att jag kunde var plösligt inte vatten värt. Att jag var stark spelade ingen roll som sagt… jag sög ändå.. på allt! Jag kände mig verkligen värdelös och mitt självförtroende fick sig en rejäl törn!
Men övning ger färdighet och jag har faktiskt gjort framsteg…små men dock ändå framsteg…. men framför allt har jag lärt mig att inte vara så hård mot mig själv! Jag måste inte vara bäst med en gång! Bara tack vare den insikten och den acceptansen gick jag idag ifrån Crossfit Studion med ett stort leende på läpparna och en tillfredsställelse i kroppen!
